Dark Wisdom #10

Well, issue 10 of Dark Wisdom magazine should be in the stores soon with another great cover by Dave Carson. As of this issue on, we'll be full color and glossy, I think only Realms of Fantasy can say the same. This edition features work by: William C. Dietz, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Jay Caselberg, Michael McBride, Stephen Mark Rainey, Richard A. Lupoff, Gene O'Neill and others. One of the others is me, I wrote a movie review. I liked doing it so much, I'm writing a book review for a future issue.

Now that you're a famous reviewer, does that mean we have to call you "Mister?"

Congratulations, by the way! I can't wait to read it.

Great news with the review! And I can't wait for #10 to hit stores so I can get some fresh stories in me. Anyway, Mister Zaglanis, :-)
, have fun with the reviewing!

Ack! Whenever someone says Mr. Zaglanis, I look for my dad. Darth Zaglanis, Dark Lord of the Sith will do just fine.

You know Lucas, you could always subscribe (hint hint, nudge nudge, he nods knowingly).

Darth Zaglanis huh? Okay, whatever dude, knock yourself out. :-)
Yeah, I could subscribe....But us poor people can't do things we want to. Although, some day I just might sell a story and BAM! subscribing to Dark Wisdom will be the first thing I'll do. That or pay off one of the kid's medical bills or something...

I've already got an ugly mug, all I need is a breathing disorder and viola! People (other than story submiters) will speak my name as a curse. hehe

So, kick backs abd graft are your game? I guess we'll have to do something about getting you accepted then, eh? (j/k)

Not about the money honey...it's about the POWA!
Okay, I'm done now, sorry. Carry on.

Yeah, fine lookin' magazine, Chuck.

Hopefully one day I'll grace its pages. Who do I have to sleep with?

:o)

If I told you, they'd kill me. They're watching...always watching... (g)

To be serious for a moment, it is a tough market to break into. I'd suggest staying away from the Universal Monsters collection (we've done vamps and zombies recently, and there's a werewolf story floating around here that's holding our interest).

Make sure you have strong charactors, that's the biggest thing, I guess.

Read your review! Very good! Loved the stories, as always, in this issue too. Scary stuff. Great work.
